    Age of Pirates 2: City of Abandoned Ships [PC/MULTI5/2009] - this is the latest game
    in the bar ?Le Corsaire?, to "Le Corsaire: Return of the Legend", which was developed
    jointly by the studio Seaward.ru and "Akella" as an alternative view of the famous
    trilogy of pirates. In "City of Lost Ships" creators "KWL" implement all what because
    of time constraints, did not find a place in ?Return Legends?.




    Deserves more attention received mystical motives in the plot of the game:
    Now the mysterious and otherworldly set aside two full location.
    The first - actually the city lost ships. The sinister wharf where get lost
    in the Caribbean Court, over the years has accumulated a huge treasure.
    Only a little courage to pick them from the dead.



    The second - the golden Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan. Here, as we know,
    there are also as old. Between a pirate and a comfortable old age are only
    mythical substance of the darkest beliefs South American tribe.

    City of Abandoned Ships to gra z gatunku role-playing, stworzona przez rosyjską grupę Seaward.ru. Produkcja wydana pod sztandarem korporacji Akella tak, jak wiele innych tytułów z logiem tej firmy, traktuje o życiu XVII-wiecznych żeglarzy. Opisywane RPG pozwala nam wcielić się zarówno w osobnika stojącego po właściwej stronie prawa, jak i w gardzącego wszelkimi zasadami pirata. Wybranie pierwszej opcji wiąże się z kontrolowaniem postaci kapitana statku, pływającego pod banderą Francji, Anglii, Hiszpanii lub Holandii. Decyzja o zostaniu piratem nie determinuje co prawda podporządkowania się danemu państwu, ale również umożliwia uzyskanie statusu żywej legendy siedmiu mórz i podbicie odległych od Europy terytoriów pokroju Kuby, Jamajki, Belize czy Bermudów. Eksploracja nowo poznanych obszarów wiąże się częstokroć z najeżdżaniem i plądrowaniem portów, a także poszukiwaniem skarbów ukrytych na terenie obu Ameryk. Zadania te są zazwyczaj bardzo ryzykowne, ale stanowią jednocześnie część historycznych misji, przygotowanych dla graczy przez autorów projektu. W skład czekających na klientów wyzwań wchodzą ponadto pojedynki szermiercze, bitwy morskie, ulepszanie okrętów oraz związane z nimi abordaże. Jak każde rasowe RPG, dziecko studia Seaward.ru zawiera system rozwoju postaci, który w tym przypadku opisany został skrótem P.I.R.A.T.E.S, charakteryzującym m.in. takie cechy, jak energia, wytrzymałość i talent naszego podopiecznego. Rozwijanie umiejętności bohatera jest możliwe dzięki wydawaniu na nie punktów doświadczenia, zdobytych w trakcie wykonywania questów. Tyczy się to zarówno zadań głównych, jak i pobocznych.
